Dr Sozos Fasouliotis received his M.D. Degree with Excellence from the University of Athens, School of Medicine in July 1994. Following a one-year internship (9/1994-9/1995) in General Surgery at the University of Athens, 1st Surgical Department, Laiko University Hospital, Athens, Greece, he was accepted in November 1995 as a full time resident at the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Hadassah University Hospital, Jerusalem, Israel for a six-year period. Through the six years of his training, Dr Fasouliotis fulfilled successfully all the tasks, clinical or academic, set to him during his rotations in all the units of the department, and passed with high scores the specialization exams of the Israeli, as well as, of the Greek Board of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, fulfilling thus all the requirements for attaining specialization in Obstetrics and Gynecology in Israel and Greece. At the completion of his residency in November 2001, Dr Fasouliotis continued to work at the Hadassah University Hospital, in the In-Vitro Fertilization Unit of the OB/GYN Department until June 30, 2002.
From July 1, 2002, Dr Fasouliotis started performing a Fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility at the Center for Reproductive Medicine andInfertility, at the Weill Medical College of Cornell  University, in New York, USA which was completed successfully on June 30, 2004.
Through the years of training in these two major clinical centers, Dr Fasouliotis has been exposed to a vast amount of clinical and surgical (including advanced laparoscopic surgery) cases, both in the field of Obstetrics and Gynecology and in the field of Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility which enabled him to acquire the necessary knowledge and skills required for performing the appropriate evaluation and therapy. Furthermore, the performance of his residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology, as well as his sub-specialization in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility in two major university hospitals with strong academic orientation, has provided him the opportunity for participating and performing many clinical and research studies, the results of which have been presented in international and local medical conferences, as well as published in international medical journals.
Following his return to Cyprus, Dr Fasouliotis has joined initially the Nicosia Polyclinic and afterwards the Ledra Clinic, where he co-founded with success the Ledra Embryogenesis IVF Center. Since 1/2009 he has been working as a Consultant in Obstetrics and Gynecology and Infertility at the ISIS Medical Center.
